The Phillies are back at the ballpark to take on the Chicago Cubs. Here are some of the fan highlights surrounding this three-game series, August 13-15, at Citizens Bank Park:

  1. On Tuesday, August 13, come cheer on the Phillies as they kick off the series with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Cubs, featuring probable pitchers Jason Vargas vs. Jose Quintana. Prior to the game, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, the 16-year-old from Pottsgrove, Pa., who won the first ever Fortnite World Cup and its $3 million prize, will have the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
  2. Probable pitchers Aaron Nola and former Phillie Cole Hamels will face off at Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. game! Highlights also include the 18th annual Goya Latino Family Celebration featuring music and entertainment, as well as a special Theme Night Ticket.

• As part of the festivities, Danny Garcia, a professional boxer from Philadelphia, will make a ceremonial first pitch. Fans can also enjoy pre-game performances throughout the ballpark including Jimmy Jorge & the Latin Express Entertainment Dancers (Left Field Gate) and DTC Music (Pass and Stow).

• In addition to performances on-field at 6:30 p.m., the Goya Family Service Award will be presented to Neyda Rios, a longtime Kensington resident who, along with her children, are an integral part of the Philadelphia Resilience Project, a City of Philadelphia initiative to combat the opioid epidemic.

  1. The final game of the series is a 7:05 p.m. #ThrowbackThursday game, featuring a Diplo Postgame Concert! Plus, kids 14 and under will receive an IBEW Local 98
    J.T. Realmuto Retro T-Shirt. There will also be a food collection at the entrance gates in honor of Rotary Strike Out Hunger Night.

• The ballpark is going retro! From Phillies players wearing a 1980s-era powder blue uniform and burgundy cap to PhanaVision retro music and more, there will be plenty of #TBT fun for all to enjoy.

Other need-to-know information:

• Gate Openings: The main gates open 1½ hours prior to game time, with the Left Field Gate/Ashburn Alley and a portion of the Third Base Gate granting access to Pass and Stow open 2 hours before the game.

• Parking Lot Openings: All parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time.

• Broadcast Information: Games will air on NBCSP and be available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s MyTeams app. Games on August 13 & 14 will be broadcast on WIP (94.1 FM), the game on August 15 will be broadcast on 1210 WPHT. All games will be broadcast on WTTM (1680 AM - Spanish).
