OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s selected right-handed pitcher Cam Bedrosian from Triple-A Las Vegas and optioned left-handed pitcher Adam Kolarek to Las Vegas, the club announced today. To clear a spot on the 40-man roster, the A’s transferred Mike Fiers to the 60-day injured list.

Bedrosian was a non-roster invitee with Cincinnati this spring and made the Reds Opening Day roster. He compiled an 11.12 ERA in six relief appearances before he was designated for assignment on April 17. The 29-year-old right-hander signed a minor league deal with Oakland on April 29 and has not allowed a run in four relief appearances and 5.0 innings with Las Vegas. Bedrosian was originally selected by Los Angeles (AL) in the first round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft and made his Major League debut with the Angels in 2014. He went 17-13 with nine saves and a 3.70 ERA in 285 games, including seven starts, in seven seasons with Los Angeles from 2014-20.

Kolarek was recalled from Las Vegas on May 2 for his second stint with the A’s this year and allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks in 3.2 innings over four appearances. He has an 8.00 ERA and .341 opponents batting average in 12 relief appearances overall with Oakland.

Fiers began the season on the 10-day injured list with a lumbar strain and was reinstated on April 26. He went 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA in two starts before returning to the IL on May 7 with a sprained right elbow.
