PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated LHP Robbie Ray (@RobbieRay) from the 10-day injured list (right lower back spasm). Following last night’s game, the D-backs optioned RHP Joel Payamps to Triple-A Reno.

Ray, 27, has made 26 starts this season and is 10-7 with a 3.99 ERA (63 ER in 142.0 IP), .228 opponent average and 187 strikeouts.

Payamps, 25, made 2 relief appearances and posted a 4.50 ERA (2 ER in 4.0 IP).
