Seattle Mariners fans in the Northwest have a rare opportunity to watch the organization’s future in action when the AA Affiliate Arkansas Travelers open the Texas League postseason on ROOT SPORTS.

Game 1 of the Texas League North Division Finals will air live on ROOT SPORTS on Wednesday, September 4, beginning at 5:00pm when the Travelers take on the Tulsa Drillers at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock. ROOT SPORTS’ anchor Brad Adam will handle the play-by-play duties and Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto will be the analyst.

The Travelers finished the first half of the season in first place in the North Division with a record of 43-25, 6.5 games ahead of the Drillers. They currently lead the Division with an overall record of 78-54 (.591).

The Travelers active roster features 11 of the Mariners Top 30 prospects as ranked by Baseball America including 6 of the Top 10: Jarred Kelenic (#1), Logan Gilbert (#4), Evan White (#5), Justin Dunn (#6), Cal Raleigh (#9), Kyle Lewis (#10), Dom Thompson-Williams (#19), Wyatt Mills (#20), Aaron Fletcher (#24), Joey Gerber (#26) and Donnie Walton (#27).

The game will re-air on ROOT SPORTS immediately after it concludes as well as at 1:30pm on September 5, leading into the Mariners at Houston Astros game at 5:05pm and immediately following Mariners postgame (approximately 8:30pm).
