The Pirates have recalled RHP Shea Spitzbarth from Triple-A Indianapolis. 

This will be the fourth stint with the Pirates for Spitzbarth in 2021. He his Major League debut on 8/2 at Milwaukee and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings.

In four games with the Pirates, Spitzbarth has given up four hits and two runs in 4.0 innings of work.

In 42 relief appearances with Indianapolis, he went 3-3 with two saves and a 2.12 ERA (46.2ip/11er).

To make room on the active roster, RHP Miguel Yajure has been optioned to Indianapolis.
