RHP Keone Kela has been reinstated from the suspended list and is active for tonight’s game against St. Louis.

Kela was reinstated Monday from the injured list; he was sidelined since 5/8 with right shoulder inflammation and made his last appearance with the Pirates on 5/4 vs. Oakland.

Kela made three rehab appearances with Triple-A Indianapolis (2.1ip/2er/6so), most recently Thursday vs. Syracuse when he struck out all three batters he faced.

To make room on the active roster, RHP Clay Holmes has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right triceps inflammation.

To make room on the 40-man roster, catcher Francisco Cervelli has been transferred from the 10 day I.L. to the 60-day I.L. (eligible for reinstatement on July 26)
