Twins sell out full postseason ticket strips; ALDS tickets on sale Sept. 19

September 12th, 2019

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN -- With the first-place Minnesota Twins closing in on hosting a playoff game at Target Field for the first time since 2010, the club’s number of full 2019 Postseason ticket strips for home games, as allotted by Major League Baseball, have sold out, the club announced today. Additional tickets for possible Twins postseason home games will be available, as strips for possible Target Field games during the 2019 American League Division Series will go on-sale to the public beginning at noon CT on Sept. 19 via twinsbaseball.com/Postseason.

“The response of our fans has been tremendous all season long, and today is just another example of how Twins Territory has fully embraced this club and its postseason aspirations,” said team President and CEO Dave St. Peter. “We still have work to do on the field, but we are all striving to reward Twins fans by bringing October baseball back to Target Field.”

The Twins bring a 4.0-game lead in the American League Central into tonight’s 6:40 p.m. series finale with the Washington Nationals at Target Field. With a record of 89-56, only the 1965 American League champions (91-54) had more wins through 145 games than the 2019 Twins in Minnesota history.

2-for-1 Home Plate View tickets for tonight are available through the Twins “Pack the Park” promotion at twinsbaseball.com/packthepark. All other tickets for tonight and the remainder of the Twins 2019 regular season home schedule are available via the MLB Ballpark App, at twinsbaseball.com, by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467) or 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), or in-person at the Target Field Ticket Office.
