MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated outfielder Max Kepler from the 10-day Injured List.

Kepler, who missed the last nine games with a right fifth toe fracture, has hit .244 (70-for-287) with 13 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 39 RBI, 41 walks, 41 runs scored and a .344 on-base percentage in 85 games this season.

To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned outfielder Mark Contreras to Triple-A St. Paul. Contreras has played in 12 games for the Twins this season across five stints, hitting two home runs with four RBI and three runs scored.
