White Sox statement

April 11th, 2021

“The Chicago White Sox thank the City of Chicago, the Chicago Department of Public Health and our partners at Rush University Medical Center for providing optional Johnson & Johnson vaccinations for our coaches, players and clubhouse staff following Thursday’s home opener. We were able to vaccinate virtually the entire White Sox traveling party. We are grateful that by being vaccinated, the White Sox can contribute to stopping the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and we look forward to collaborating with the City on a multisport, multiteam vaccination advocacy campaign. We are proud to help share the positive message about how safe and important it is for everyone to be vaccinated.”
