April 15th, 2021

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox announced this season’s “Beyond the Diamond” celebration, the team’s signature fundraiser event, presented by Peoples Gas and Wintrust, returns in 2021 in a virtual, livestream format.

Featuring remarks from manager Tony La Russa, exciting game shows starring members of the 2021 White Sox team and additional exclusive content, courtesy of sponsors Peoples Gas, Modelo Especial and Wintrust, the season-opening Beyond the Diamond at Home will be held on Sunday, April 25 at 7 p.m. CT. Registration information is available to fans at whitesox.com/diamond.

Hosted by White Sox broadcasters Jason Benetti and Len Kasper, Beyond the Diamond at Home will showcase White Sox coaches, players and front office staff competing in a series of game show-style challenges. From “Sox Showdown” trivia and a newlywed competition between players and their wives to a game that tests teammates’ knowledge of the 2020 American League Most Valuable Player José Abreu, the evening promises fun and engaging content for fans of all ages.

Livestream tickets – secured with a suggested donation of just $50 – are on-sale today, April 14 at whitesox.com/diamond. All proceeds benefit Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC), which provides annual financial, in-kind and emotional support to hundreds of Chicago-based organizations.

“While we are not able to bring everyone together physically, we are so proud to invite some of our most dedicated and generous fans to connect with our manager and players in a way that puts safety first but keeps the spirit and entertainment of our annual Beyond the Diamond event,” said Christine O’Reilly, White Sox vice president of community relations and CWSC executive director. “The entire White Sox family is grateful for the support of our presenting partners – Peoples Gas and Wintrust – and our clubhouse to bring Beyond the Diamond at Home to life, providing the perfect window to continue giving back to the Chicago community and those most in need.”
