Texas Rangers pitcher Jake Diekman and the Texas Rangers are hosting Gut It Out Awareness Night at Globe Life Park on Friday, June 15th when the Rangers take on the Colorado Rockies.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights will benefit the Gut It Out Foundation. The Gut It Out Foundation connects patients and caregivers through education and inspiration in order to strengthen relationships and resources within the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) community.

Gut It Out Night, hosted at Globe Life Park for the second year, will also include a pre-game presentation with a few Crohn's and ulcerative colitis patients. Diekman will also have a special meet and greet prior to the game.

Diekman and his wife, Amanda, founded the Gut It Out Foundation in 2017 with hopes of inspiring the IBD community. Diekman was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at ten years old. His personal mantra "Gut It Out" has helped him persevere through obstacles his health presented and put into perspective that someone out there has it worse.

The Gut It Out Foundation supports organizations and efforts dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in the IBD community. The foundation's areas of focus include education, research, pediatric care and support groups. For more information, visit www.GutItOutFoundation.org.

Tickets are available online at texasrangers.com/themenights.
