CHICAGO – Following today’s series finale vs. Toronto, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Nicky Delmonico to Class AAA Charlotte.

 Delmonico, 26, is hitting .206 (13-63) with two doubles, one home run, six RBI and six runs scored over 21 games with the White Sox after being recalled from Charlotte on April 22. He is batting .286/.382/.540 (18-63) with seven doubles, three home runs, 10 RBI and 13 runs scored over 17 games with the Knights this season.

The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night’s series opener at Houston.
