MINNEAPOLIS – Following tonight’s game at Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Thyago Vieira to Class AAA Charlotte. 

Vieira, 26, has gone 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA (1 ER/4.1 IP) in three relief appearances over three stints with the White Sox this season.

The Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow afternoon’s game at Minnesota.
