The World Baseball Classic Fan Zone is the ultimate pregame and in-venue destination for fans looking to immerse themselves in the excitement, culture and global spirit of the World Baseball Classic. Designed to deliver a dynamic and engaging experience in each of the four host cities, the Fan Zone brings the tournament to life through interactive programming and community-driven celebration.
Fans of all ages can enjoy interactive activities and activations, live entertainment and photo opportunities that build excitement before first pitch and throughout the event. The World Baseball Classic Fan Zone is more than an activation space -- it’s a celebration of the global game and a destination where passion for baseball brings the world together.

Prohibited Items
In order to expedite your entry into Hiram Bithorn Stadium and Fan Plaza, please be aware that the following measures will be implemented. All guests entering Hiram Bithorn Stadium and Fan Plaza are subject to inspection by walk-through metal detectors as well as other protocols deemed by security staff members.
Items not allowed into the ballpark cannot be held by security staff members or other ballpark personnel and no items surrendered to security will be stored or returned. To ensure fan safety, Hiram Bithorn Stadium and the World Baseball Classic reserve the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous, suspicious or offensive.
Prohibited items:
- Aerosol cans (e.g., hairspray, mace, etc.)
- Aluminum bats, plastic bats and wooden baseball bats
- Animals (except certified service animals or service animals in training)
- Backpacks, lunch boxes, coolers "neveritas" or large purses.
- Banners, signs, and flags larger than 3'x5' in size. Please reference the Banner/Signs/Flags/Apparel Policy for more information.
- Beach balls or other inflatables
- Clear bags (plastic, vinyl, PVC) larger than 12"x6"x12" are prohibited or small clutches larger than 4.5"x6.5". Please reference the Bag Policy below for more information.
- Drugs and alcoholic beverages
- Firearms or other weapons (e.g., knives)
- Fireworks
- Glass bottles
- Laptop computers
- Laser devices or pointers
- Lighters, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, vapes, cigars and/or any product that generates emissions. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
- Monopods and tripods, camera/video equipment (lenses must not exceed 8 inches) and microphones. Professional camera equipment only permitted for authorized media personnel.
- Noisemaking devices that are prohibited on the WBC Permissible and Prohibited Instruments list. Please reference the list for more information.
- Obscene, indecent or offensive clothing (e.g. bathing suits, vulgar/political words/phrases, images on clothing, etc.)
- Skateboards and rollerblades
- Sticks or clubs
- Toy guns or knives (including water guns)
- Unmanned aerial vehicles
- Weapons
- Wood
Smoking policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Hiram Bithorn Stadium and Fan Plaza. The no-smoking policy includes the use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, cigars and similar products including smokeless tobacco.
Bag policy
Clear bags (plastic, vinyl, PVC) up to 12"x6"x12" in size are allowed or small clutches up to 4.5"x6.5" in size, with no exceptions for backpacks, lunch boxes, coolers "neveritas" or large purses. All bags are subject to search when entering Hiram Bithorn Stadium and Fan Plaza.
Exceptions may be made for:
- Medical bags no larger than what is required to transport necessary medical equipment.
- Breast pumps for nursing mothers and other bags required for guests with ADA needs.
- Diaper bags for guests accompanied by infant(s) and/or toddler(s).
