On Thursday, December 14, members of the Phillies organization and special guests made a surprise visit to Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation Hospital – Center City to personally deliver holiday cheer to patients recuperating in the hospital. Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation provides physical and cognitive rehabilitation to individuals recovering from traumatic injuries and illnesses.
Taking part were the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls, Phillies ambassador Scott Palmer, and 1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson, who delivered Phillies gifts in honor of the holidays.
The event was the final stop of the Phillies Season of Giving presented by SEI, a month-long initiative to pay it forward and celebrate the holiday season with various charitable events.
