Youngsters Get Treated to a Phillies Coaches Clinic from Toyota 

It was a special day for more than 100 youngsters from the Challenged Athletes Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region, who all got the chance to train with Phillies coaches on the field before the Phillies-Twins game on August 12.

Hosted by Toyota, These inspirational kids participated in baseball drills and workouts with Phillies coaches Hector Rabago, Brad Flanders, Paco Figueroa, David Lundquist, Brian Kaplan, Dusty Wathan, Jason Camilli, and Caleb Cotham.

They were also treated to that night’s game and Wall of Fame festivities, courtesy of Toyota.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation provides opportunities and support to people with physical challenges so they can pursue active lifestyles. Big Brothers Big Sisters empowers children to reach their potential through safe one-to-one mentoring relationships.
