MLB All-Star Week Security Procedures

In order to expedite your entry into Citizens Bank Park, and all other All-Star venues, please be aware that the following measures will be implemented. The Philadelphia Phillies and Major League Baseball reserve the right at any time to adjust entry policies at their sole discretion without any prior notice.

Guests are required to abide by all guidelines listed in the Philadelphia Phillies Guest Code of Conduct.

Prohibited Items

  • Abusive, Foul or Disruptive Language or Clothing
  • Aerosol Cans (e.g., Hairspray, Mace, etc.)
  • Alcohol or Illegal Substances
  • Animals (Except Service Dogs to Aid Guests or Service Animals in Training)
  • Brooms
  • Camera Lenses Exceeding 6 Inches; Tripods; or Any Other Device That May Interfere with and/or Distract the Players, Fans or Telecast of the Game
  • Cans, Glass Bottles, and Open Containers
  • Clear Bags Larger Than 12” x 6” x 12” and All Non-Clear Bags Larger Than 5” x 7” Including Purses, Binoculars and Camera Cases. (See Bag Policy)
  • Coolers Including Hard-Sided, Soft-Sided, and Styrofoam
  • Drones or Unmanned Aircraft Systems
  • False Identification
  • Fireworks
  • Firearms, Weapons of any Kind (e.g., Knives), and Toy Guns (Including Toy Knives, Water Guns)
  • Full Size Baseball Bats
  • Inflatables Including but Not Limited to Balloons and Beach Balls
  • Laptops
  • Laser Pointers
  • Nets and Poles
  • Noisemakers (e.g., Air Horns, Cowbells, etc.)
  • Political Signs or Flags (See Flag Policy)
  • Skateboards and Rollerblades
  • Sticks or Clubs
  • Tools
  • Vapes and other Smoking Devices
  • Wrapped Packages or Gifts
  • Any Other Objects that May Compromise Public Safety, Cause Nuisance and/or Harm, as Determined by Major League Baseball at their Sole Discretion

Red Carpet Show Prohibited Items

Please note, that the prohibited items differ from other All-Star Week events.
  • Alcohol or Illegal Substances
  • Cans, Glass Bottles, and Open Containers
  • Drones or Unmanned Aircraft Systems
  • Fireworks
  • Firearms, Weapons of any Kind (e.g., Knives), and Toy Guns (Including Toy Knives, Water Guns)
  • Full Size Baseball Bats
  • Any Other Objects that May Compromise Public Safety

Any such items should be returned to your vehicle, and/or secured in on-site lockers. All fans are subject to guest screening procedures and a bag search before entering the ballpark.

Exceptions may be made to the above list and are at the discretion of The Phillies, Major League Baseball, and the Security Staff Personnel.

Bag Policy

In an effort to expedite entry, guests are prohibited from bringing non-clear bags, including backpacks and draw-string bags, into the ballpark.

Only clutch purses and/or fanny packs (no larger than 5" x 7"), clear bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), medical bags, and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park.

Guests may discard or return the prohibited items to their vehicle as well as store them in any of our locker locations: First Base Gate, Third Base Gate, or Left Field Gate, or the Mobile Locker Truck at South 11th St. and Pattison Avenue.

Flag Policy

Flags may be admitted so long as they are smaller than 18" x 24" (and are not affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material).

See Something, Say Something

While at Citizens Bank Park, guests who would like to discreetly notify our game-day staff of guest services issues (e.g. security needed, spilled drink, medical issue, etc.) may do so by texting "PHILLIES" [space] followed by the issue and location to 69050. For example: PHILLIES drink spilled in section 123, row 15. Text messages are received and responded to by Phillies personnel during All-Star ballpark events. Message and data rates may apply.
