#EverybodyInGOLD
On Friday, September 14, Cubs Charities joined Major League Baseball in the fight against pediatric cancer by going "gold" for Childhood Cancer Awareness Day at Wrigley Field.
In addition to Cubs players and coaches wearing gold ribbon decals, wristbands and #EverybodyInGOLD batting practice shirts, the Cubs offered fans a Special Ticket Offer for the Cubs-Pirates game. Included with a game ticket, fans who purchased our Childhood Cancer Awareness ticket offer received an #EverybodyInGOLD batting practice shirt. A portion of net proceeds from our Childhood Cancer Awareness ticket offer also was donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, Jon Lester's NVRQT campaign and Joe Maddon's Respect 90 Foundation.
