15 years ago today, Kerry Wood tied a Major League record with 20 strikeouts

Back on May 6, 1998, Cubs rookie Kerry Wood tied a Major League record by striking out 20 Astros over nine innings. The Killer B's couldn't touch him. Moises Alou looked lost. Wood allowed just one hit and zero runs and didn't walk a batter in one of the most dominant pitching performances of all-time.
