36 years ago, Reggie Jackson hit three home runs in one World Series game

Reggie Jackson hit 18 home runs in 281 postseason at-bats -- with 10, yes, 10 of them coming in World Series play. The right fielder also notched a career .357 average with 24 RBIs during the Fall Classic.

And on this day in 1977, Jackson hit three homers in Game 6 to give the Yankees the Series victory over the Dodgers. Only Ruth, Pujols and Pablo Sandoval have blasted three long balls in one World Series contest, but none of them did it on three consecutive pitches:
