A day in the Spring Training life: Jake Arrieta

March 6 wasn't just an average day at Spring Training for Orioles starter Jake Arrieta. He celebrated his 27th birthday and got the start in an exhibition game vs. Team Spain. He let us tag along to get an idea of what happens in a day in the life of Jake Arrieta. Check out the photos below!
Jake's day begins with some early morning bumper pool in the clubhouse after breakfast.
Warming up for his start against Spain. Jake went three innings, allowing just one unearned run on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
After his strong start, Jake played ping-pong in the clubhouse against fellow pitcher Troy Patton.
A quick post-game workout.

An afternoon visit to the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota with his 17-month old son Cooper.
Jake finishes up the day making a Birthday wish with Cooper and his wife Brittany at Chart House Restaurant in Longboat Key.
