A-Rod tells Jimmy Fallon he really, really regrets kissing the mirror in that photo shoot

A-Rod tells Fallon he regrets kissing that mirror

In his age-40 season, Alex Rodriguez appeared in 151 games and belted 33 home runs en route to helping the Yankees earn a berth in the AL Wild Card Game. To cap off his resurgent campaign, A-Rod is moonlighting as an analyst on FOX and, oh yeah, stopped by to chat with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show."

Jimmy jokingly took credit for A-Rod's return to form, citing the slugger's warmup swings while making prolonged eye contact with Fallon while he was taking in a game with Lorne Michaels earlier this season. Then A-Rod called Fallon out for liking too many teams, to which Fallon responded by affirming his Yankees fandom, but conceding that he is pulling for the Mets in the World Series.

The highlight of the segment, though, was when Fallon asked A-Rod to reveal what advice he'd give to his 20-year-old self.

Brilliant. Friends don't let friends make out with their own reflection.

As if that exchange wasn't entertaining enough, A-Rod mic-dropped his segment by giving a pair of tickets to Game 3 of the World Series to a random Mets fan in the studio audience. It's not a bad night to be that guy.
