We saw him face-plant after a wild swing earlier this month. We've seen him high-five the catcher after a dropped third strike. And during the Rays-White Sox game on Monday, Adam Eaton's bat went just a bit farther than the ball after striking out against Jake Odorizzi:

Hey, you can't say he isn't trying. Eaton would redeem himself with a two-run double later in the game.
