Adam Jones mercied radio host Craig Carton in an R.B.I. Baseball '14 faceoff

Claiming that he stood no chance against Orioles outfielder Adam Jones on an actual field, Craig Carton challenged Jones to a game of R.B.I. Baseball '14 before a recent O's game at Yankee Stadium. The "Boomer and Carton" co-host chose the Yankees, but Jones strategically selected Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers. Carton took an early 2-0 lead, but Jones rallied once he got the hang of the controls. Soon, even Carton's kids were rooting for the three-time All-Star. Virtual Kershaw looked like the real thing, dominating for Jones in a 12-2 in a 6-inning mercy-rule victory.

R.B.I. Baseball '14 is available for Xbox One and Playstation 4 on Tuesday with updated rosters including the White Sox's Jose Abreu and the Yankees' Masahiro Tanaka (though even Tanaka wasn't enough to help Carton.)

UPDATE: On Tuesday morning, Adam Jones spoke to Carton about his victory and his feelings on the All-Star Game:
