Adam Jones ensures that Kevin Gausman won't go hungry at any point in his career

Kevin Gausman has yet to throw a pitch in the big leagues, but he's already as superstitious as the most grizzled of veterans.

One of the right-hander's better known rituals includes eating one powdered doughnut before each start, and then another four between innings. Do the math, and that means 33 doughnuts for a complete game. Unfortunately for Gausman, his sweet supply was put in jeopardy by Hostess' ongoing bankruptcy proceedings ... until Adam Jones stepped in:

Thanks to Baltimore's All-Star center fielder, Gausman now has enough donuts to throw approximately 45 complete games. For reference, Pedro Martinez threw a total of 46 complete games during his stellar 18-year career.
