Adam LaRoche wants you to buckle your seatbelt
Me: Oh, hey Adam. Whatcha up to?
Adam: Just hanging with my friend Clicky.
Me: Clicky?
Adam: Yeah. He's my robot sidekick here, telling parents to talk to their kids about seatbelt safety.
Me: Well, that's a great cause. You sure look like you're having a blast spending time with your friend there.
Adam: We go way back, ze and I.
Me: Oh, yeah?
Adam: Mhmm! We met back when I was filming a hunting PSA, and Clicky just showed up to pitch in, keep everyone hydrated and help write the script. We've been besties ever since. Clicky's dedication to seatbelt safety and Nats baseball is the coolest.
Me: Wow, that's just awesome. What a beautiful friendship!
Adam: Thanks! Yeah, we're close. He comes to all my games. We're like brothers, really.
Me: Don't you already have a brother?
Adam: Yeah, but he and I can't talk about the big stuff, you know? Like, it's usually just baseball with Andy. I need a friend I can chat about stuff like seatbelt safety with.
Me: No, no. I get it. I'm glad you have someone like that.
Adam: Me too. Well, I've got to go -- I need to get my bearings in this weird animated version of Nationals Park. I hear the first base line curves like a Dr. Seuss drawing. That'll make fielding a real doozy.
Me: No problem. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us Adam. And hey, we did it in less than 25 minutes!
Adam:

Me: Oh, sorry.
