William Dillon spent 27 years behind bars before he was exonerated of a 1981 murder and released from prison in 2008.
Once scouted by the Tigers as a promising pitcher, he’s now launched a country singing career at age 52.
The man who thought he’d never see a live baseball game again threw out the first pitch and sang the national anthem prior to Wednesday's Rays-Indians game at Tropicana Field.
