An inning after Byron Buxton's first MLB home run, Miguel Sano hit his first triple
An inning after Buxton's first HR, Sano gets first 3B
Remembering that they are two super prospects playing on a team that is battling for a postseason berth, Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano went all super-prospect on the Tigers during the Twins' 7-1 win Sunday afternoon.
First, in the eighth inning, Buxton said see ya later to his first career home run:

And then Sano, who already has 17 home runs this season, showed off his best Evan Gattis impression and rumbled into third for his first career triple during the top of the ninth.

"I don't what the odds were higher on -- Buxton's first homer or Sano's first triple -- but we got them both out of the way," Twins manager Paul Molitor told MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger after the game. "And how many times did [Sano] slip? He tried to stop and they started to go. So he leaves a trail. But he found his way there, which was good."
It's as if Sano saw Buxton's home run and thought to himself, "Oh yeah, that's what super prospects like us can do," and presto -- triple.
Nothing like a couple of milestone hits to remind everyone that these guys are really young and really good.
