Blue Jays fans celebrate Encarnacion's HR hat trick
After Edwin Encarnacion launched his third home run of the game -- a grand slam -- in the seventh inning against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, the fans in attendance at Rogers Centre feted him by throwing their hats onto the field, because of course they did.
There's really no other way to celebrate a homer hat trick in Canada. You just tend to see hats thrown onto ice, rather than astroturf. But as Encarnacion finished the day 3-for-5 with nine RBIs on the aforementioned trio of homers, we'll say he earned his haul of head coverings.

Hey, when your team wins, 15-1, and charges onward in the hunt for its first playoff berth since 1993, you tend not to worry too much about head attire.
