After karmic intervention, Kristopher Negron's botched throw still makes it to first

Sometimes, the universe looks fondly upon you. Sometimes you blunder, but karmic forces step in and say "Hey, it's OK -- we'll help you out." Sometimes -- whatever happens along the way -- everything turns out all right in the end.

Reds second baseman Kristopher Negron made a diving stop on a grounder from Prince Fielder. He then proceeded to throw the ball directly into the dirt.

But the ball still made it to first. Karma gazed upon Negron and granted mercy, bouncing the ball to Joey Votto. And thus, Fielder was out.
