Alex Cobb launches ultimate frisbee toss

Rays starters Matt Moore and Alex Cobb channel their inner beach bum every afternoon before the gates open at Tropicana Field, ripping a disc around the field.

Cobb uncorked a bit of a wild pitch Tuesday.

Standing just a few feet from the Rays dugout, the righty let it fly. The result was a splash-down that would have made fans at AT&T Park proud. The red frisbee traveled some 400 feet from the spot it was launched, landing in the Rays Touch Tank in right-center field.

Cobb called it an accident -- but maybe an accident he was proud of.
