Pagan pulls ball back to rob Kemp of HR
The best heist movie of the summer isn't one of Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti Westerns. It's not a Spike Lee joint, a David Fincher thriller or an ensemble sequel from Steven Soderbergh. The best heist movie of the year is actually just the above clip of Angel Pagan bringing back a would-be Matt Kemp home run.
The Giants hosted the Padres on Friday for the first of a three-game series that has big implications for the home team's hopes of making the postseason. Pagan and Co. led, 5-1, in the seventh when Kemp stepped in with one out and the bases empty. The former Dodger got ahold of a pitch, launching it to deep center field, but Pagan leaped against the 399 sign on the wall and brought it back for the out:
That goes down as an ➇ in your scorebooks and a "NO WAY" in your hearts, folks.
