Another Red Sox fan tries to field fair ball
It was nearly deja vu all over again thanks to a kid trying to field a fair ball at Fenway Park for the second day in a row. On Saturday, a young Red Sox fan reached over the barrier down the left-field line and fielded a fair ball off the bat of Dustin Pedroia.
Pedroia was awarded the ground-rule double, but the kid was beside himself because Brock Holt might have been able to score from first on the play.

Fast-forward to Sunday, and the Mariners had runners on the corners when Kyle Seager singled down the left-field line and -- wouldn't you know -- there's a different kid, reaching out onto the field to make a grab at the fair ball.

Luckily for all parties, his dad was there to pull him back in time, allowing Will Middlebrooks to throw Kendrys Morales out trying to go from first to third. Seriously, those two plays could not have been more similar.
If it were a Michael Bay movie franchise, this one would be called Red Sox Fan Tries to Field Fair Ball 2: Honor Thy Father
And remember, for your safety (and the sanity of those around you), please keep all arms, legs, hands and feet inside the vehicle until it has come to a complete stop.
