Check out the Appalachian League's sharp new logo
The Rookie-level Appalachian League, one-time home to Hall of Famers such as Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken Jr. and Greg Maddux, is getting a snazzy new logo for the 2016 season. It's pretty dang sharp.
The old logo was functional, but on first glance, it could have been a small chain of hotels, an energy company or even some kind of shell corporation.
The new one though is classic, beautiful and, most importantly, baseball-focused.
It shouldn't be a surprise that the new one is so sharp. After all, it was designed by Todd Radom, the man behind a number of great logos like the 2014 All-Star Game, the World Baseball Classic and, my favorite, the Brooklyn Cyclones' amazing logo.
