As the apocalypse looms, who in MLB will be most sorry not to see 2013?

Have you heard? The world is ending on Friday. The Mayan people predicted it, except they didn't, but forget about that for now. When the 13th b'ak'tun ends and doomsday arrives, who in MLB will be most disappointed that they won't get to see 2013?

  • Mike Trout, whose hyper-promising rookie year will be the only one he gets.
  • Zack Greinke, Josh Hamilton, Edwin Jackson, Anibal Sanchez and B.J. Upton, recently-signed free agents who just received huge paydays and now won't get to spend them.
  • Fans of the color yellow, who will be deprived of seeing the Pirates' new gold-domed caps on the field of play.
  • Alex Anthopoulos, the Blue Jays GM, who won't get to see the fruits of his labor of trading for Mark Buehrle, R.A. Dickey, Josh Johnson and Jose Reyes.
  • Padres hitters, who won't get to take advantage of the newly shortened fences at Petco Park.
  • Teddy Roosevelt, who won't be able to continue making up ground in the Nationals' Presidents Race.
  • Ryan Braun, Bryce Harper, Matt Kemp, Andrew McCutchen and C.C. Sabathia, who will get no resolution to the contest to appear on the cover of MLB 13 The Show.
  • And Jamie Moyer, who will not get a chance to pitch at age 50, or for the rest of the 14th b'ak'tun for that matter.

Who else do you think is especially dreading the end of the world?
