Astronaut? Inmate? Nope, just a Brian Wilson fan

Dan Gilbert originally purchased his orange jumpsuit for the 2010 postseason, customizing it with several patches on the front and Brian Wilson's name and No. 38 on the back.

That October worked out just fine for Wilson and the Giants, so Gilbert, who recently moved to Oregon after six years in San Francisco, felt he had no choice but to break out the getup once again this year. He said it's worth wearing to playoff games just to hear reactions from his fellow Giants fans.

"They love it, man," Gilbert said. "Everyone asks me where I got it, you know, 'Can I buy one?' So I always have to tell them the story about it."

But Gilbert's Wilson fandom doesn't end at his orange collar. Like in 2010, he's also pledged not to shave until San Francisco's postseason run ends.

"Playoff beard," he said. "It's been growing, my wife hates it. It's going all the way through, man."
