Watch Yoenis Cespedes become the first outfielder to reach double-digit assists this year
Yoenis Cespedes is very good at throwing baseballs. You might remember from plays such as this:

You might think by now that opposing teams have just completely abandoned the idea of trying to run at all when the ball comes to him, but hasn't quite happened yet. Giancarlo Stanton was the latest victim, as Cespedes gunned him down at home during Friday night's Athletics-Marlins game:
That puts Cespedes at 10 outfield assists on the year, which leads the Major Leagues. He's got a long way to go to match Orator Shafer's MLB record of 50, which was set in ... wait for it ... 1879. But by the standards of this millenium, I'd say Cespedes has been pretty darn impressive.
