AT&T Park is the 'best place on earth,' says Baseball Mary
Sitting in Section 138, Row 3 at AT&T Park is the Giants season-ticket holder known as “Baseball Mary.”
A Giants fan since she moved to the Bay Area more than 30 years ago, Mary has seen plenty of action at both AT&T and Candlestick Park, but her stadium experiences aren't limited to San Francisco. She's visited 43 stadiums since 1995, including all 30 current Major League parks and a number of Minor League venues. Wrigley Field in 1995 was her first trip, the reward for submitting a winning hot dog recipe in a Vienna Beef contest.
Baseball Mary also has a new traveling companion this season -- her Brian Wilson gnome. Since May, he's explored Marlins Park and visited Wrigley, among other stadiums.
