Babe Ruth's 1923 World Series pocket watch can soon be yours - if you're very, very wealthy

The Yankees won the first of their 27 World Series titles in 1923, defeating the Giants in six games. Babe Ruth had one of his finest seasons that year, riding a monstrous .393/.545/.764 line to his only MVP award (AL players could only win the award once during that era).

In '23, the championship token was not a ring, but instead a pocket watch - and for decades nobody knew the whereabouts of Ruth's. But it recently surfaced and an anonymous sports collector has put it up for auction next month.

Want that piece of history for yourself? Forecasters say you'll need shell out at least three quarters of a million dollars.
