On Babe Ruth's birthday, we remember the time he hit the first ever All-Star Game home run

There's really nothing you don't already know about The Great Bambino, who was born on this date in 1895. He hit 714 home runs during his storied 22-year career -- leading the AL in the category 11 times and in slugging for 13. His career OPS is an astronomical 1.164. His name is synonymous with the sport.

And back in 1933, a 38-year-old Babe delivered the first home run in All-Star Game history ... because of course he did.

Ruth, HR

Happy 119th! Hope you're still crushing baseballs wherever you may be.
