If you've always wanted the bat shard Roger Clemens threw at Mike Piazza, here's your chance

Remember the above play from Game 2 of the 2000 World Series? The Mets' Mike Piazza and the Yankees' Roger Clemens, whose history in that season included a grand slam and a concussive fastball to the head, found themselves in another dramatic situation. Clemens threw a broken bat shard in Piazza's direction, causing both benches to clear. So whatever happened to the bat fragment?

Turns out longtime Yankees strength and conditioning coach Jeff Mangold ended up with it, and kept it in his office where "very few people knew about it." But he's now putting it up for auction. Want it for your collection? The auction house conducting the sale says bidding could reach higher than $10,000 by the time the live auction ends on February 22.
