Because what's the Subway Series without Charlie Sheen?

A standout high school ballplayer and the star of "Major League," Charlie Sheen knows his way around the diamond.

While he might not have as much baseball memorabilia as he used to, Sheen has held onto two precious heirlooms: Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series Championship ring and the original contract that sold the Bambino from the Red Sox to the Yankees.

Sheen once tried to catch a home run ball by buying out a complete section in Angel Stadium in April, 1996.  The plan didn't turn out the way he hoped, as four balls hit the outfield wall that night in front of his section.  The following night, four home runs went into that exact section.

As Sheen so appropriately put it, "I was trying to force the hand of the baseball gods, and you can't do that."

Wild Thing also joined the broadcast during Saturday's showdown at Citi Field, showing off his baseball passion to a national audience.
