Ben and Julianna Zobrist had a baby girl, and her middle name is Royal
You know you've had a great week when "winning a World Series and having a whole city show up to celebrate it" doesn't qualify as the most remarkable experience. But, hey, it's pretty good to be Ben Zobrist: Just a couple days after he helped Kansas City capture its first title in 30 years, he and his wife Julianna welcomed a new baby daughter into the world.
And, considering recent events, they knew just what to name her:
What do you name a little girl that so politely waited for the World Series to be won by her daddy? Then so sweetly thanked 800,000 fans at a parade, and the next day hung on while her family packed up and moved back home to Nashville? And then, in a brilliant finish, came to meet the world and say hello the day her mommy's new single "Alive" is released? You call her a miracle. Or, we call her BLAISE ROYAL ZOBRIST
Yes, really: Blaise Royal Zobrist. She even has the team's official stamp of approval:
We love her name. Congrats! https://t.co/I6KTFKOqte- Royals (@Royals) November 6, 2015
Between Blaise and the beloved Baby Cueto, the Royals' legacy will extend beyond greatness on the diamond to being responsible for a whole lot of adorable children.
