Marcus Stroman reveals deepest secret at his ALDS presser: He really, really hates spiders

Marcus Stroman reveals his biggest fear: Spiders

Bugs: The world's foremost proprietor of "NOPE" since the dawn of time, whether they're invading broadcast booths or the entire continent of Australia.

Blue Jays starter and excellent tweeter Marcus Stroman knows this better than anyone. He's not easily intimidated -- so far this year, he's already rehabbed from an ACL injurycontinued working towards his college degree and helped lead Toronto to an AL East title while making the rest of us feel like slackers. But every man has his limits, and during his ALDS press conference on Thursday afternoon, Stroman admitted that, much like the rest of us who don't have a death wish, bugs are not his thing:

I hate spiders. Yeah, there's a lot of things that throw me. I don't like outdoors, I'm a city guy. I have this talk with Buehrle all the time, I'm not a hunter, I don't like bugs. I call Aaron [Sanchez] over if there's a single moth or spider or cockroach at our place in Florida. He's the one to kill it, not me.

The Rangers have clearly found their strategic advantage -- just move Stroman's start in Game 2 on Saturday to the forest, and let the critters do their thing.
