Bobblehead night in L.A. commemorates Fernando's no-no

The Dodgers have produced Fernando Valenzuela bobbleheads before -- three of them, in fact -- but none commemorated his no-hitter like the one given away at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday.

Complete with the distinctive aviator eyeglasses the lefty sported in June 29, 1990, the promotion evoked memories of Valenzuela's no-no against the Cardinals -- which came on the same day that Dave Stewart no-hit the Blue Jays in Toronto. It was just the second time in MLB history, and the first since 1898, that two no-hitters occurred on the same day.

George Lopez was in the house Tuesday to read the lineups and toss out first pitch while wearing a "Lopezuela" jersey.
