Bracket Challenge leader one Cards win from first perfect bracket

Outside of David Freese's family, it's unlikely anyone was happier about the Cardinals' walk-off Game 6 win than Nathan Hogue.

Who?

Nathan Hogue, a 32-year-old broadcast technician from Tulsa who's now one more St. Louis victory from completing the first perfect bracket in eight years of MLB.com Postseason Bracket Challenge play.

Some Game 7 magic at Busch Stadium would put Hogue in line for a $10,000 payday -- oh, and did we mention he's also a Cardinals fan? Yup, loves him some Albert Pujols heroics.

Said Hogue of watching Game 6: "It was an emotional roller coaster. Down and up, down and up! Then I couldn't fall asleep -- too excited."

So what's the plan for Game 7? Nathan will be watching at home with his wife and son. Sparkling cider is already on ice for a potential postgame shower.
