Brandon McCarthy's wife Amanda makes a funny while tweeting about her husband's progress

It turns out that Brandon McCarthy isn't the only one in his family with a sense of humor.

Everyone in the baseball world has been concerned for the A's pitcher since he was struck in the head by a line drive last week. A few days ago, McCarthy responded to a Buster Olney tweet with a pretty funny update on his recovery progress.

Now, his wife is at it with the jokes.

Earlier on Wednesday, Amanda McCarthy tweeted out this photo of her husband walking down a street in San Francisco showing off his new (and unfortunate) haircut, due to surgery.
