Braves fans travel 2,200 miles for a Chipper Jones bobblehead
Evan and Sharon Myrick are not just any old Braves fans. They're fly-across-the country-for-one-game Braves fans.
The pair traveled all the way from Southern California to Turner on Thursday for Chipper Jones Bobblehead Night. Both have been avid Jones (and Bravos) fans for nearly 28 years. Their goal was to get a bobblehead, see Chipper Jones play at Turner one last time and watch their team beat the Padres.
Well, it must've been a dream vacation for the Myricks. They received their bobblehead, and Chipper went mammo twice in a Braves 6-0 win. Yicketty Yak!
