Brewers help raise funds for a good cause
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a condition dealing with the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. The Brewers, Yovani Gallardo and the ALS Association-Wisconsin Chapter recently came together for a chance to raise money and awareness.
For $149, 200 fans were able to get a ticket to the Gehl Club, an upscale entertainment area of Miller Park. There was also a $50 tailgate attended by 1,100 people.
