Brothers make up for lost time at Twins game
Bob and Jack Cremer don't get together very often. The two brothers grew up in Big Timber, Mont., but now live in different states. After the recent passing of their younger sister, Bob, 62, and Jack, 55, decided they needed more family time.
So Jack drove from his home in Sheridan, Wy., to pick up Bob in Miller, S.D., before continuing on to Minneapolis for Friday's series opener against the Royals.
They didn't even look for a hotel when they arrived in town, instead heading straight to Target Field.
"We'll find a place to stay after the game tonight," Bob said. "We're just flying by the seat of our pants right now."
Bob had never been to a Major League game before Friday night, and said his first experience was amazing. But Jack, who drove approximately 800 miles to get here, had a different trip highlight.
"Probably the best part of all this is getting to spend the time with my brother."
